Hope and Meaning Counseling encourages interested jobseekers to send us resumes and a letter of interest stating what type of position you are interested in. We will review all resumes we receive and reach out to you in the event that we are able to match you with an existing employment need we have.

HMC has hired interns who have successfully completed internships with us and met all graduation requirements, and we do use the internship process as a way to develop graduate students into outpatient behavioral health providers if that is a self-identified goal the intern brings to us.

At HMC, we understand that employment needs vary widely according to life circumstances. We offer both in-person as well as remote work opportunities, and we provide freedom in scheduling that matches employee availability as well as practice needs. We do not provide incentives to work in an overtime status because we want to encourage a healthy work-life balance; this is why all positions are either salaried or paid at a set hourly rate and structured as employment, not independent contracting. Hope & Meaning Counseling is dedicated to the creation and demonstration of linked prosperity. Our mission consists of three interrelated parts. The SERVICE MISSION is to provide outpatient behavioral health therapy, medication management and case management in a respectful, empowering and ethical manner to all of our clients. The SOCIAL MISSION is to operate our company in a way that actively recognizes the central role we play in society by initiating innovative ways to improve the quality of the life of the local communities we function in. The ECONOMIC MISSION is to operate our company on a sound financial basis of profitable growth, increasing the concept of “hope and meaning” for all stakeholders and business partners and creating career opportunities and incentives for all employees.

Underlying the mission of Hope & Meaning Counseling is the determination to seek new and creative ways of addressing all three parts of our mission while holding a deep respect for individuals within and outside of our company, and for the communities of which they are a part.
